Buddy Mondlock   www.buddymondlock.com
Nashville, TN
Listen: Magnolia Street
sample (mp3)

Buddy Mondlock writes songs. He does it so well that some great songwriters have recorded his songs on their own albums. Guy Clark, Nanci Griffith and Janis Ian, to name just a few. But there’s nothing like hearing the guy who wrote ‘em sing ‘em. He’s not going to pin your ears back with those songs. He’s going to draw you into his world. Where a single snowflake follows the trajectory of a relationship, where you get your pocket picked by a Roman cat, where morning tumbles into noon and where dreams that don’t come true still count.

Rachel Eddy & The Mo'Town Rounders www.morgantownrounders.com
Morgantown, WV
Listen: Elzic's Farewell (mp3)

The Morgantown Rounders are an Old-Time string band of eclectic proportions. They are traditionalists pushing the envelope of tradition, infusing high-energy square dance exhilaration into a mix of vintage songs. The Mo’Town Rounders are led by singer and multi-instrumentalist, Rachel Eddy, who has been a full-time private music teacher and performer for her entire adult life. Scott Phillips plays banjo, guitar, bodhran, and Cajun accordion; Jason Jaros guitar, mandolin and  vocals; and Walt Sarkees upright bass and guitar.

Emcee - Barbara Walker

Barbara Walker dances and sings her way through life in her adopted hometown Morgantown, WV, with her delightful family.  She sang and played bodhran and scrub board for a couple years with The Raging Acorns.  She works as a Scientist for EG&G Corporation, ever striving to convince her colleagues to use the term “cleanER coal.”  She is also a poet, left-handed, and positively radical.
